The last half of 2021 was a challenging one. I think I’m safe saying that was true for a significant portion of the planet too, so I know I’m not alone. I completely lost my mojo, not just the sexy one but the writing one too. My ability to get work done completely tanked and I just sat around watching Among Us gameplay on Youtube. But it’s a new year. Same me, but I’ve got a new leaf to turn over…that’s something, right?
As so often happens at the end of the year I found a few ounces of motivation so I started getting ready for 2022. I made grand plans for blogging every week and a new slice of life erotica. As you can tell none of that has started yet. My Christmas gift from the universe was getting sick. Thankfully it isn’t Covid. But, two weeks on I’m still suffering. At least my mind is finally clear enough to get a few words down. I’m not going to let this small delay get me down though! I’m still motivated to get writing again.

Yodeling Vaginas
One of the hallmarks of this particular illness has been difficulty being tired and difficulty sleeping. So what do you do when you’re going through old tweets at 3 in the morning? You make poor choices! Actually, this one might be a really good one. I’ve written about 200 words in a story about a yodeling vagina. I was written at 4 in the morning though and I’m not well. I may end up scrapping the whole thing. I dunno yet. I’m letting future 100% well me decide its fate. Just know that it’s something I’m working on.
Slice of Life Erotica
One of the things I came to terms with during my break last year was that while I love creating worlds and I love writing words…I’m not all that big on plot and conflict and *Handwave* normal stuff like that. While reading my favorite webcomic, which has been running for an amazing 18 years, I started wondering, why don’t I just do that? Why don’t I write a slice of life erotica? So that’s what I’m going to do. I’ve got a fantastic setting already picked out. I know who the main players are and I know a rough direction I want to go in. Right now my plan is to post weekly updates on Literotica.
Blogging
I’m really excited to get back into the blogging side of things as well. I’ve got a few essays that I’ve been eager to write about including polyamory persecution, Fetlife for Couples, and HuCow, the most millennial kink. I’m sure other topics will pop up as well as we progress through time but those are the three I’m most looking forward to writing.
Daily Tweeting
I’m so bad at Twitter! More often than not I completely forget to log in. But, this year I want to be better about it. I want to involve myself in at least one conversation a day. Hopefully not all of them at 3 in the morning, but hey, if that’s all I’ve got in me, it’ll do.
So there we have it. I’ve laid bare my plans for this year. It will be interesting to look back at the end of the year and see how I did.
